Pico de Gallo (aka Pico)

Meet Pico de Gallo, or Pico for short! This handsome brindle boy arrived on Cinco de Mayo, making him approximately 3-4 years old. He's believed to be an American Staffordshire Terrier-type mix with striking wavy fur and a head full of love to give.

Pico's past is a bit of a mystery, but he's settling in well and showing us his sweet personality. He's a big softie who enjoys plenty of affection. Pico is a strong boy, so a confident handler experienced with larger dogs would be ideal.

Ideal Home

Pico would do well in a home that can continue his training and provide him with consistent routines. He seems to get along with other pets and children, provided introductions are done carefully and supervised.

Ongoing Health

Pico will be neutered and fully vaccinated before heading to his new home.

Training & Support

Pico appears to be potty trained, but a refresher course and crate training will help him adjust to your home. He already knows some commands and would benefit from further obedience training, which will also help build a strong bond with his new family.
