Lilly is a slightly timid Mountain Feist spayed female who warms up quickly once she realizes you are a friend. She and her three grown pups were living behind a mechanic's shop, surviving on scraps from the workers. After a couple of years in rescue, Lilly has made incredible progress and has learned to trust people. She absolutely adores butt scratches – her favorite! When you offer her a scratch across her hip bones, she'll back up to you, wiggling with anticipation. Lilly gets along well with other dogs, but as a mature lady, she prefers companions with medium to low energy.
Ideal Home
Lilly would thrive in a calm, mid to low-energy household where she can be a cherished couch potato. She would likely do well with senior owners who appreciate a quiet companion. Ideally, she'd have a senior or mature dog friend to relax with.
Ongoing Health
Lilly is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is up-to-date on Simparica Trio for heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. She will receive a vet exam, a negative fecal test, and a health certificate for travel.
Training & Support
Lilly is very well potty trained and is a joy to be around. She is gentle enough for visiting children to walk her on leash to the play yards, making her easy for new people to manage.
