Hazel

Hello, I’m Hazel, a playful and sweet American Bulldog mix with a tan and white coat and a big, happy smile! I love to have fun, cuddle with my people, and I'm house and crate trained. Walks are my favorite, but I am a strong girl and can pull hard, so I need an owner who can handle me and teach me some manners. I’m good with mellow dogs, and I can be cat-tested if you're curious. I have lots of energy for playing fetch and running, but I also love to relax and nap in my safe space, my large kennel. I prefer to be inside with my people and get anxious if I’m left outdoors for too long or if I go too far from home.

Ideal Home

A home with older children (10+) and mellow dogs would be ideal for me. I need an owner experienced with large breeds who can help me learn manners and understand my need for closeness.

Ongoing Health

I have some digestive issues and require a special diet of lamb and rice.

Training & Support

I can be a bit of a chewer when unsupervised, so I need to be crated when left alone. I’m working on my leash manners and need guidance.
