Meet Trujillo, a handsome 2-year and 6-month-old Alaskan Malamute looking for his forever family! Trujillo has been patiently waiting at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter since June 20, 2026, and is now ready to embark on new adventures with his loving humans. He's a big, beautiful boy with a heart full of potential, eager to share his life with someone special.

Ideal Home

Trujillo is a dog with a lot of love to give. We're looking for a home that can provide him with plenty of exercise and attention. Because of the shelter environment, his ideal home would be one where he can truly blossom with consistent training and a loving family.

Ongoing Health

Trujillo is neutered and vaccinated, and he is in good general health.

Training & Support

Trujillo is not yet house-trained, so he will benefit from a patient owner who can help him learn the ropes. He needs guidance and positive reinforcement to thrive in his new environment.

Transporation

Trujillo is currently located at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter. Companion Animal Protection Society (CAPS) can arrange transportation for adopters on the West Coast. Please note that adopters are responsible for any transport fees.
