Josie

Josie is a sweet, loving female dog, around 3 years old and weighing about 40 pounds. She's a gentle soul who truly thrives on closeness and enjoys belly rubs and gentle hugs. Josie was found abandoned when her previous people moved away, which is a sad start to her story, but her loving eyes show her resilient spirit. She was tested with another dog and did great, and she's a very relaxed girl who just wants to get along with everyone she meets. She might not be the most conventionally beautiful, but her heart is full of love for all.

• Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 8:00 AM on the date the pet is available.
• You are welcome to call the day before the availability date to confirm the pet is still available.
• Adopters from out of town are welcome.
• We do not place holds for adoptions.

Josie is located at the Wasco Animal Shelter. Adopters are responsible for transportation.
