August is a charming 3-4 year old pittie mix who is ready to find her forever home! She was found abandoned at a local vet clinic over a year ago and has been waiting for her second chance ever since. August is a true sweetheart who believes everyone is a friend. She enjoys the company of other dogs but would do best with a more submissive canine companion, as she can be a bit dominant. When she's not charming her humans, you can find August enjoying some zoomies, as this girl is a total beefcake with a playful spirit! She is very food motivated and loves to run and play, and is always up for a good belly rub.

August would love a family that can appreciate her playful energy and her affectionate nature. She gets along well with other dogs, but would prefer friends who are more on the submissive side.
