Meet Rocket, a handsome 3-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Pit mix who weighs a solid 65 lbs of muscle and charm. Rocket's journey began on the tough streets of Houston, where he was found by the side of a highway after being hit by a car. Despite his ordeal, he allowed a kind stranger to help him, and after weeks of veterinary care, he's made a full recovery and is ready to shower his new family with love.

Ideal Home

Rocket would love a family who can provide him with plenty of affection and playtime. He's been gentle and patient with young children and would be happy in a home with a canine sibling or as the sole furry companion.

Ongoing Health

Rocket is a healthy boy, fully healed from his past injuries and heartworm-negative. He is neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

This smart pup is a true graduate of obedience school! He's house-trained, crate-trained, and knows commands like sit, down, stay, come, and heel. He walks beautifully on a leash and has even been trained with an e-collar, though he rarely needs it. Rocket does have a strong prey drive and can be a champion chewer, so providing him with durable toys is a must!
