SAM

Sam is a roughly 4-year-old Shar-Pei mix who is looking for his forever home. He was rescued from a seizure in Florida and is currently recovering from entropion surgery. Sam is a loyal and independent dog who needs a little time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, he's a wonderful companion. He's a typical Pei who has to know you before he trusts you.

Ideal Home

Sam would thrive in a home where he can feel secure and build trust at his own pace. He needs a family who understands his breed's unique personality.

Ongoing Health

Sam is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and is recovering from entropion surgery.

Training & Support

Sam needs to eat alone as he does not like to share his food. This is understandable given his past.
