About Sybil (OR)

Sybil is a lovely 15-year-old, 14 lb. girl who is looking for a comfortable retirement home. She was adopted to a loving family for almost 10 years, but unfortunately, her person became too ill to care for her. Sybil is quite the character! While her eyesight and hearing aren't what they used to be, she still has a playful and sometimes rambunctious spirit for an older gal. Her absolute favorite thing is mealtime – she gets so excited, prancing and jumping in anticipation of a tasty treat!

Ideal Home

Sybil does well with other dogs and seems to find comfort in having someone follow her around. She enjoys napping in her comfy bed, both indoors and in the yard. A securely fenced yard is a must, and a doggie door would be ideal as she navigates going in and out for potty breaks quite well. Sybil would thrive in a single-story home, as stairs and obstacles are not suitable for her. She would also be most comfortable in a home where her person can keep her company for most of the day.

Ongoing Health

Sybil is house-trained, but as an older girl, she may occasionally leak a bit when excited or sneezing. She can sometimes become a little disoriented after waking up, but this only lasts for a few minutes.

Training & Support

Sybil sleeps through the night in a crate with no accidents and has only barked a couple of times. She enjoys affection and has very soft, silky fur, but she does not like to be picked up and is unable to get on furniture for snuggles at this time.
