Callie

Meet Callie! This gorgeous shepherd mix is estimated to be between two to three years old. Callie is a mature girl who is still full of life and energy. She loves people and forms strong attachments quickly. While she can be a little timid at first, she warms up quickly and leans right into affection—pets and praise are her favorite things. She’s playful, affectionate, and responds well to commands like “sit.” Callie is active, enthusiastic, and loves being part of the action. She seems to get along with other dogs, though she can be selective, mostly out of nerves right now. With time and confidence, she may open up more in that area. Whoever adopts Callie will be rewarded with a loyal companion who will bond closely and bring endless joy. By adopting Callie, you'll also be making space for another dog in need at our shelter.

Ideal Home

Callie can be a little timid at first, so a home that can offer patience and understanding as she warms up would be ideal. She does seem to get along with other dogs but can be selective due to nerves, so a home that can support her as she gains confidence around other dogs would be beneficial.

Callie is spayed and vaccinated.

Callie is not house-trained. She responds well to commands like "sit." She may need continued support as she gains confidence with other dogs.
