Truffles BW

Meet Truffles, a gorgeous, friendly, and athletic gal whose ears are truly out of this world! Her magnificent, stick-up ears are capable of receiving transmissions from afar, and when she's not busy listening, they crisscross atop her head. Truffles loves long walks on her leash, zooming around, playing with balls and stuffies, tug-of-war, and most of all, cuddling! She's an intelligent, affectionate, and eager-to-please pup, making her an ideal companion for an active family or individual.

Ideal Home

Truffles would thrive in an active home with a family or individual who can keep up with her energy. While she loves kids, she may be a bit too boisterous for very young children.

Ongoing Health

Truffles was born with a genetic condition called megaesophagus. This requires a bit of extra time and special steps at meal times. She has a custom chair that allows her to eat in an upright position, and she eagerly gets into it because she is quite food-motivated. She needs to sit in her chair for 15-20 minutes after eating and cannot have treats. You might notice her throat moving like a bullfrog when she's sleeping due to the enlarged esophagus, but this is nothing to worry about.

Training & Support

Truffles is leash-trained and eager to please. The primary need is careful management of her mealtimes and a strict no-treats policy.
