Hi, I'm Sandra! I arrived at the county shelter with my six tiny pups and am so grateful to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue for rescuing us and providing the care we needed to prepare for our forever homes. My pups have all found their families, and now it's my turn! I'm a terrier mix weighing about 55-60 pounds. I love walks and playtime, and the staff affectionately call me a "baby hippo" because of my happy, energetic personality. I can be a bit selective with other dogs and get excited around cats, so I'd do best as the only pet. I walk well on a leash, especially after we get going, and I know how to sit and take treats gently.

Ideal Home

I would do best as the only pet in the home, as I can be dog selective and get a little excited around cats.

Ongoing Health

My spay, vetting, up-to-date vaccines, microchip, deworming, and heartworm test (negative) have all been completed.

Training & Support

I walk pretty well on leash, though I can be a little excited at first. I also know how to sit and take treats gently!
