Meet Steve Harvey! This 2-year-old purebred Labrador is a gentle soul who was surrendered with many other labs through no fault of his own. Steve is a very shy boy who is in need of extra love and TLC. He's been with us for a few months now and is slowly blossoming in his foster home. He gets along with other dogs and absolutely LOVES playing with toys. Steve is smart, athletic, and a lover of food. His flighty nature and lack of socialization do make him a bit of a project, but he's worth it! He loves to play with his toys outside and frequently plays "soccer" by himself. He's thriving on routine and has good household manners despite his timid nature. Steve is sweet and gentle once comfortable and is ready for guidance and love from a dedicated forever home! We promised Steve Harvey that the rest of his life would be the best of his life. Could that be with you?

Ideal Home

Steve is a shy boy who needs a patient and loving home where he can continue to blossom. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for him to play and explore safely.

Training & Support

Steve can be a bit of a project due to his shy nature and lack of socialization. He is learning and thriving with routine and positive reinforcement. He needs a dedicated owner who can provide him with continued guidance and love to help him gain confidence.

Transporation

Steve is located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
