Astro (27lb)

Meet Astro! This handsome 2-year-old Heeler and Chi mix is about 25 lbs of pure charm and readiness for his forever family. Astro was found all on his own in a tough Texas neighborhood, but a kind volunteer opened her home and heart to him. Now fully vetted and thriving in a foster home with many other dogs, Astro has blossomed and is eager to find a family to call his own. He's a smart pup who is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. Astro is a motivated learner, especially when treats and toys are involved, and he loves to please his people. He's also a cuddle bug who enjoys quiet time with his favorite humans.

Ideal Home

Astro is looking for a home where he can be your number one pup! He can be a bit of a "little man" and may occasionally nip at other male dogs when competing for treats or attention, so a home with no male dogs, or a very carefully managed introduction, would be ideal.

Training & Support

Astro is eager to please and highly food, toy, and treat motivated, which will make training a breeze! He is already house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained.

Transportation

Astro is currently in a foster home in Texas. Out-of-state adopters are welcome! Private transport can be arranged for an additional $200, which includes a health certificate, vet exam, and transportation to your area.
