Meet Rio! This handsome boy is a master of disguise, looking just like his favorite treat, an Oreo cookie! Rio is a super fast learner who absolutely loves to train for food. He already knows his name, sit, come, down, "rest" for cooperative care, and a hand target. He's also working on his leash manners and enjoys car rides, though he's still getting used to being restrained. Rio is a playful pup who loves fetch and tug-of-war, and he's getting better at sharing his toys. He's a big fan of approved chew toys, especially pig ears. Rio is crate trained and generally enjoys bath and nail clipping. He's a lovable and active dog who can be a bit of a booger with other dogs, so he's looking for a specific type of canine companion.
Ideal Home
Rio would do best in a home with a sturdy, chill dog of his size or larger who is not easily annoyed and can gently correct his boisterous play style. He is not a good fit for homes with cats, as he does not see them as appropriate toys.
Ongoing Health
Rio is a healthy pup with no ongoing health concerns mentioned.
