Sherman

Sherman is a 5-year-old Newfoundland mix who is looking for a patient and loving home. He's a big boy who loves people and would be happiest as your full-time shadow. Sherman is good with cats and generally good with other dogs, but he doesn't always realize how big he is and might not do well with small, less quick dogs. He's looking for a family with older children.

Ideal Home

A home with a securely fenced yard is a must for Sherman. He's a big boy and needs space to roam safely.

Ongoing Health

Sherman has year-round allergies that are currently uncontrolled. He is on a treatment plan, but it hasn't been consistently effective. He will require ongoing veterinary consultation and care to manage flare-ups and ensure he stays on track with his medical needs.

Training & Support

While Sherman is crate-clean, he is not yet 100% house-trained and will need continued reinforcement. He also needs some additional work on his leash training if his family plans to take him on regular walks.

Transporation

Sherman is located in North Branch, MN. Out-of-state adoptions are considered, but the adopting family must finalize the adoption in Minnesota. Transport is not provided by the rescue; adopters must transport their new family member.
