Meet Roo!
Roo is a bright and spirited young pup who embodies all the incredible qualities that make cattle dogs so special. She's loyal, loves to be a part of everything you do, and is always game for an adventure. As of July 10th, Roo is estimated to be 4 months old and weighs 19lbs.
Ideal Home
Roo needs an experienced cattle dog owner who can keep up with her energy and intelligence. She's not the right fit for first-time dog owners or apartment living, and requires an active home that understands the importance of physical and mental exercise for this breed. A fenced yard is a must. She would absolutely thrive with another playful, energetic dog who can match her spirit and provide a companion for fun and engagement.
Ongoing Health
Roo is mostly house-trained and fully crate-trained. While she's not a fan of going into her crate, she settles down quickly and is not destructive once inside, especially when her needs for activity and mental stimulation are met.
Training & Support
While Roo is a quick learner, she benefits greatly from continued training and enrichment. Providing her with plenty of opportunities to stay active and engaged will help her be the happy, confident dog she's meant to be.
