Meet Cotton Ball, a gentle and sensitive 32lb lab retriever mix with an estimated birthday of March 26, 2022. Cotton Ball is a soft heart learning to feel safe and is just beginning to discover what love really feels like. She came from a difficult hoarding situation where she didn’t receive the care or attention she deserved. Slowly gaining strength and confidence with good food, patience, and kindness, she’s blossoming every day.

This sweet soul can be a little shy when you first meet her, but the world is still a big, new place for her. She’s looking for someone who understands that trust takes time. When she starts to feel safe, you’ll see it in her soft eyes, quiet tail wags, and her gentle presence that just wants to be near you. Cotton Ball will build a deeper, quiet, loyal bond with those who are patient and kind.

Transportation

Cotton Ball is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can be to nearby towns or states. Pickup locations of transported dogs may vary. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
