Star

Meet Star! This sweet brindle gal is about 1.5 years old and weighs around 40 lbs. She was rescued from a crowded shelter in rural Alabama and is now ready to find her forever home. Star is a playful and friendly girl who would make an excellent hiking and adventure partner. She also gets along well with other dogs and would love to have a canine companion in her new home. Star is truly a bundle of love waiting to shower her affection on a deserving family.

Ideal Home

Star would love an active home where she can join in on hikes and adventures. She would also do well in a home with another dog to play with.

Ongoing Health

Star's adoption fee covers basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at a partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, and monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention while in our care.

Training & Support

Star will need a refresher in house-training. We strongly recommend enrolling Star in obedience training to help her transition into your home, ensure she remains well-socialized, and to help form a strong bond between you.
