Hi there! I'm Vega, a 6-year-old, 70-pound bundle of brindle and white boxer energy, looking for a forever home where I can share my unconditional love! I'm a super smart, adventurous boy who lives for playtime, running, and exploring. My foster mom says I'm eager to please, especially if treats are involved! I'm already neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I'm all set for my new life. My high drive makes me a joy to work with, and I'd likely excel at dog sports!

Ideal Home

I need an active owner who can keep up with my adventurous spirit – I'm definitely not a couch potato! I'm dog-selective and need slow introductions to new canine friends. Due to my strong prey drive, I should not be around cats or other small animals. While I do well with children, older kids would be best due to my size and energy level.

Ongoing Health

I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

I can be crate reactive and experience some barrier frustration, but I'm making great progress with these behaviors. I also need more practice with leash training as I tend to pull. Tools like a gentle leader might help me learn to walk nicely by your side.
