The One-of-a-Kind “Peeler” (Pitty + Heeler Mix)
If James Bond were a dog, he’d probably look a lot like Tux: sharp black-and-white coat, confident presence, and just enough goofball energy to keep life interesting. At 4 years old and 58 pounds, this handsome boy is what we call a Peeler—a Pitty + Heeler mix with the best of both worlds. Tux is the perfect balance of active and chill. He loves going on walks, playing tug-of-war, chasing toys, and showing off his goofy side, but when the fun is over, he’s just as happy to lounge around the house. Medium energy with a healthy love for couch time—basically, the best of both. Tux warms up at his own pace, but once you’re in, you’re family. He’s loving, loyal, and eager to bond deeply with his humans. He does best in a calmer household with adults or older kids who understand his protective side. With dogs, Tux is playful and friendly! He’s happiest with a female pup sibling to hang out with, but he’d also thrive as your one-and-only sidekick. Cats? He hasn’t been tested yet, so that’s still a mystery. Tux is crate trained, healthy, up to date on vaccines, and low maintenance—just a dog who loves routine, playtime, and loyalty. He’s smart, eager to please, and ready for someone who understands his breeds and appreciates his protective but goofy nature. If you’re looking for a loyal partner who can keep up with adventures but also crash on the couch with you afterward, Tux is your guy. Bonus points if you’re ready for endless love and a dash of Peeler charm.
Ideal Home
Tux does best in a calmer household with adults or older kids who understand his protective side. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved. He is not tested with cats.
