About Chip

Chip is about a year old, around 53 pounds, and an American Bully mix. He's built like a tank but is a soft marshmallow with opinions! Chip has a classic bully look with a big head, sturdy build, and a face that makes people stop and reach down to pet him, which he fully expects. He's confident, social, and loves to be involved in whatever you're doing. Chip greets everyone like they've been personally invited and carries himself with the attitude that life is meant to be enjoyed. Life with Chip is never boring; he's a toy hoarder, a professional splooter, and emotionally available, though he can be a bit dramatic! He'll play hard, make you laugh, and then collapse into a snoring, upside-down position. Chip loves walks, thrives on playtime, and will choose a good rope toy over most responsibilities. He's also a big fan of water and an even bigger fan of tug-of-war. Chip is smart, crate trained, potty trained, and knows his commands. He responds well to structure and has a "I want to get it right" mindset, needing someone to meet him there and keep things consistent.

Ideal Home

Chip would do best in a home that appreciates a dog with personality—someone active, engaged, and ready for a dog who's going to be part of everything. He can live with other dogs with proper introductions and currently coexists with a cat without issue. He is not a background dog and is not low-energy. He’s the kind of dog you build your routine around. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended.
