Oscar Mayer is a tiny, white, and extra fluffy 3-year-old who is estimated to be a Maltese Chihuahua mix. He's about 15 pounds of pure lap dog and a true one-of-a-kind! Oscar is currently in a loving foster home with seven other small dogs and is learning all about toys, treats, and blossoming into a playful little guy. He's gentle with his senior foster siblings and has no issues sharing food bowls with his buddies. Oscar is a bit of a slow burn when it comes to earning trust, but once he falls for you, he's incredibly loyal. He's trusted to free roam in the house and sleeps in his foster's bed at night. This cuddle bug loves anything soft, whether it's the couch or his cozy dog bed. He enjoys sitting on the porch with his canine companions and is the perfect morning coffee buddy, enjoying sunrises and sunsets with you.
Ideal Home
Oscar would do best in a home with a yard, as he loves being outdoors. He also prefers a routine and calmness. We believe older children who can understand and respect his boundaries would be best, as he can be timid and prefers to take things slow. While we haven't seen him with cats, we think he could do well with them due to his size, but we are not recommending a home with just one kitty.

Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
