About Raven

Petite in size but big on spirit, Raven is a sweet, loving, curious, and energetic girl who's always ready to explore the world by your side. Whether it's chasing her beloved ball, splashing in the water, or heading out for long, invigorating walks, Raven brings joy, enthusiasm, and a touch of spunk to every moment. Her silky-soft coat barely sheds! She's a fantastic car companion and thrives when she's close to her people. Raven is the kind of dog who plays with heart and settles beautifully once she's had her fill of fun – ideally curled up nearby, keeping a watchful eye on her favorite humans. This smart girl loves having a job to do! Currently in her foster home, her job is keeping the yard free of squirrels – a job she takes VERY seriously! Raven is highly intelligent, needing both physical activity and mental stimulation to be her best self. She's quick to learn, eager to please, and has already mastered "Sit," "Down," "Stay Back," and "Inside" (to come in from the yard), is working on "Heel," and understands "Settle."

Ideal Home

A home where she can safely roam and relax is ideal, as crating causes her stress. A fenced yard is a must for her safety and to continue her important mission of keeping your yard bunny and squirrel free! Raven would thrive as the only dog in the home or possibly with a well-matched, playful male companion. Due to her prey drive, a cat-free home is probably best. While her enthusiasm might be a bit much for smaller children, her loving nature suggests she'd likely do well with older kids, especially with clear and reinforced rules.

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions or procedures were mentioned.

Training & Support

Raven is highly intelligent and eager to please, having already mastered several commands and is working on "Heel." She is very receptive to training and can adapt to new situations with clear rules and reinforcement.
