Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, spayed female Pointer/Australian Cattle dog mix, weighing around 35 pounds. She's a bundle of joy and affection, known for her playful zoomies, sweet cuddles, and an undeniable love for other dogs. Daisy's journey has been a bit of a rollercoaster; she was adopted from a shelter in October 2025 but returned in February 2025, finding herself on a euthanasia list. Thankfully, we were able to step in and give her the second chance she truly deserves. She's a smart and well-mannered girl who is fully house-trained, walks beautifully on leash, and sleeps soundly in her crate. While she's a sensitive soul who can be a bit shy with new people, especially men, she warms up with patience and gentle encouragement, blossoming into an affectionate and cuddly companion.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home with another friendly dog for companionship, which is strongly preferred. She'd love a securely fenced yard or plenty of opportunities for daily walks and playtime. A home with children 10 years or older who understand how to respect a shy dog would be ideal. While she's not destructive when left alone, it's best to pick up shoes as she finds them fascinating!
Ongoing Health
Daisy is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. There are no specific health conditions mentioned in her description.
Training & Support
Daisy is already house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained. She has no issues with resource guarding and politely shares toys and treats. She is food-motivated, making training even easier. As she can be shy with new people, patience and gentle introductions are key.
