Prince

Prince is a magnificent 3-year-old Great Pyrenees, tipping the scales at a robust 130 pounds. He embodies the classic Great Pyrenees spirit, always aware of his surroundings and taking his role as neighborhood watch very seriously. He's a vocal guardian, eager to alert you to everything from the mail carrier to passing squirrels. Prince is a loving companion with his family and shows respect to strangers. He enjoys bursts of playful energy, followed by a classic Pyr full-body flop.

Ideal Home

Prince needs a family who truly understands and appreciates the Great Pyrenees breed and its unique characteristics. A securely fenced yard is a must, as he cannot be trusted off-leash. He would do best in a home with teenagers or older children.

Ongoing Health

Prince is selectively deaf, only hearing what he deems important. He is a champion shedder and a barker when he sees things, which are all typical Great Pyrenees traits.

Training & Support

Prince is not an obedience champion and is independent in his decision-making. He is housebroken and well-mannered within the home.
