Charlie

Hello there! My name is Charlie, and I'm a handsome, fun-loving Great Pyrenees and Border Collie mix who is eager to find my forever family. At 87 lbs, I've got plenty of love to give and a zest for life! I'm a very smart boy who already knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and come. I'm also incredibly treat-motivated and absolutely adore my toys!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home with a nice yard where I can run and play to my heart's content. If you have other dogs, I'd love to meet them – the more, the merrier! I do need a home without cats, as I can become fixated on them. I can be territorial towards dogs outside of the fence, but I am dog-friendly with proper introductions. While I'm not destructive when left alone, I would love a "thunder buddy" for when storms roll in, as they make me anxious, pant, and whine.

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy boy who is already neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

I'm still working on my jumping, as I'm sometimes unaware of my size, but I'm confident I'll master "off" with a little more practice. I walk decently on a leash, but my favorite way to exercise is by running in the backyard. I do best when crated for car rides because I tend to bark at and chase passing cars. As I'm protective of my people, I do need slow introductions to new individuals until I feel comfortable.
