Mabel

Mabel is a 2.5-year-old, 64-pound pit bull mix who is spayed and vaccinated. She was found abandoned and frightened but has blossomed into a sweet, adoring girl who loves to snuggle, give kisses, and be by your side. Mabel is a happy, outgoing dog who gets along wonderfully with people, including children, and has shown particular gentleness with an autistic child. She enjoys playing with other medium to large dogs and is working on her leash manners and understanding when playtime is over. Mabel is happy to be left unsupervised and prefers sleeping with her people rather than in a crate. She would likely do best in a home with a playful, tolerant dog companion or as the only pet, and it's recommended she be in a home without cats.

Mabel is still learning when playtime is over and can sometimes get overexcited. She is making great progress with her leash manners. She is not a fan of crates and prefers to sleep cuddled up with her people.
