Hi, I'm Mario! I'm a 45-50lb lab mix with a love for all things squirrels. I'm an intelligent and goofy boy who's always up for a good time, especially if it involves playing with my favorite humans. I enjoy making friends with most dogs and I'm eager to learn how to greet them appropriately. While I'm not sure about cats yet, I'm confident that with a little patience and understanding, we can learn to get along. I thrive on routine and believe that a structured day is the key to a happy life.

Ideal Home

I'd love a home with a fenced-in yard to keep me safe, as I tend to wander if not leashed or contained. I also do best in a home with older children who can help ensure I don't make a quick exit out the front door.

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy boy, but I can get a little anxious and high-strung at times. I shed quite a bit, but I don't mind being brushed.

Training & Support

I'm crate trained, potty trained, and know several basic commands like sit, shake, and down. I don't like being yelled at when I'm being naughty. I sometimes act out when I don't get enough attention, but I do well when we stick to a routine. I can be a bit of a barker, especially when I see squirrels, other dogs, or the mail carrier, so a little extra patience in that area would be wonderful.
