With those gorgeous light eyes and the sweetest personality around, Adrian has arrived and hasn't taken but a minute before wooing all of the peeps. Adrian is a hound/terrier mix who is a young adult weighing about 37 lbs on the lean side. This boy is both shy and wiggle butts all in the same package making him simply heart-stealing material. Adrian just needs a little time to build his confidence, which he has already begun doing, and cannot wait to start meeting his potential "forever dates" as he's been hearing that his forever is just around the corner. Adrian does well with other dogs and would do well with just people as he adores them SO much. While shy in new situations, he is sure to build confidence with time and experiences. This is a whole new world to him as living as a stray is a lonely and very quiet life. He is ready to change that ALL! Come meet this totally irresistible boy ASAP!
Adrian was an absolute gentleman on our hike. He was very gentle but eager to be out in nature. He remained curious but kept his manners when other dogs or people approached. He would make a great exercise companion as he kept a very steady pace but would often look back for reassurance that we were going the right way. Adrian was an energetic hiker who loved being on trail and was excited to catch up to dogs ahead of us. That said, some encouraging pats and love along the way were enjoyed as well as praise.
My favorite part of the weekend was seeing his personality start to shine - he played with toys, came over for pets, and got excited to interact. Adrian does great on a leash and is very observant when people or dogs pass by. He settles nicely in his crate and seems to really enjoy having a calm, predictable routine. He absolutely loves walks and gets excited as soon as he realizes it's time to go outside.
