Mondo

Mondo is a stunning 5-6 year old Australian Shepherd mix who weighs about 50-55lbs. Don't let his age fool you; he's an active guy with a gorgeous charcoal grey coat, white belly, and spotted legs. He's up-to-date on all his shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Mondo is a happy, food-motivated boy who loves to play and is ready for his forever home!

Ideal Home

Mondo needs an active home that can provide him with regular exercise through walks, hikes, or camping. He is not an apartment dog or "yard art" and needs to be an included part of his family's daily life. He would do well as an only dog or with a medium to large breed dog, male or female. He could live with a family with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person. No tie-outs or electric fences.

Mondo is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Mondo is potty trained and crate trained. He knows basic commands but is not yet off-leash trained. He is a smart and agile dog who will learn anything you teach him. While he had issues with fence climbing at a shelter due to lack of exercise, his current foster home has not experienced any issues as he receives regular playtime. He rides well in the car without anxiety.
