Hope

Hope is a 2-year-old, 30-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a big personality packed into a perfectly medium-sized body. She's a bit shy when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and soon shows off her silly, independent spirit. Hope is a medium-energy girl who enjoys a good play session just as much as she enjoys relaxing nearby. She absolutely loves toys and has a hilarious habit of carrying as many toys as she can to her favorite spot, making her a constant source of entertainment. She walks nicely on leash most of the time, though squirrels can tempt her to pull a bit. Hope is also great in the car, making her a wonderful companion for adventures or errands. At home, she has excellent manners – she's house trained, crate trained for up to six hours, and has even been trusted to free roam while home alone without being destructive. She has no issues with food aggression or resource guarding.

Ideal Home

Hope would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children (12+) as she can get jumpy when excited and a bit mouthy during play. She’s still learning to be gentle.

Ongoing Health

Hope is spayed, fully vaccinated, and up to date on all preventatives.

Training & Support

Hope is eager to keep learning and is very food motivated and toy-driven, which will be great for continued training.

Transporation

Hope is located with her foster in Texas and can be transported to your local Wags adoption center once approved. Transports run every few weeks.
