Meet Storm! This handsome 3-year-old, 70 lb Lab mix is a sleek black coat with a passion for adventure. Storm is a high-energy boy who thrives on movement and would make an ideal hiking, jogging, or active walking partner. He’s treat-motivated and smart, which makes training both fun and effective. Storm does well with other dogs but can be a bit much at first, as he doesn’t always realize how big or bouncy he is. Slow, thoughtful introductions to new dog friends are recommended. He’s not a match for cats and would do best in a home without small children due to his size and enthusiasm. Storm is already housebroken and crate trained, and he's eager to find a home that will give him both structure and fun. He would love a yard to run in, a human to bond with, and plenty of opportunities to burn off energy and learn new skills.

Ideal Home

Storm would thrive in a home with an active person or family who enjoys outdoor activities. He needs a secure, fenced yard (6 ft required) and would do best in a home without cats and small children. Dog-savvy adopters who can continue his training and are prepared for slow intros with any resident dogs are ideal.

Storm is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Storm is housebroken and crate trained. He can be a bit much for other dogs initially due to his size and exuberance, so slow introductions are key.
