Sawyer is a big, goofy 3-year-old GSP/Airedale mix with a heart full of love to give! He absolutely adores cuddling and receiving pets. Sawyer is also very food motivated, which helps with his training. He enjoys playing with toys, but he can get a bit jealous and doesn't like to share, sometimes even taking toys from his canine companions. While he doesn't "speak" on command, he will bark at noises outside. Sawyer is a fast eater, so he's currently using a slow feeder to help him out.

Ideal Home

Sawyer would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of attention and cuddles. He would do best in a home where his toy-stealing and jealousy around toys can be managed, as he can get very jealous when left out of play.

Ongoing Health

Sawyer is microchipped and received his DAPP vaccine on May 10th, 2025. He is up-to-date on rabies vaccinations, with the last one administered within the last 3 years.

Training & Support

Sawyer knows several commands, including "Sit," "Stay," "Wait," "Good boy" (as a release word), "Lay down," "In" (for his crate), and "Go to bed." He needs continued support to work on his toy sharing and jealousy. He barks at outside noises, which might need some gentle redirection.
