Bear

Bear is a 2-year-old, 52-pound mixed breed with a constant smile and a personality that's just as warm as it looks. He's likely a Black Mouth Cur/hound mix, known for being loyal, intelligent, and devoted. When Bear first arrived, he was a little overwhelmed by his new surroundings, but with a couple of months to adjust to rescue life, he's blossomed into a friendly, confident companion who is a favorite among our volunteers.

Bear walks beautifully on leash and enjoys meeting new people with his gentle, easygoing nature. He handled one of our busiest adoption events like a seasoned ambassador, happily soaking up attention and charming everyone he met. Bear is affectionate without being demanding. He enjoys spending time with his people, happily accepts pets, and is just as content joining you on an outing as he is relaxing by your side. He's the perfect mix of laid-back companion and ready-for-an-adventure buddy.
