Zac is a 5-year-old, neutered male Anatolian Shepherd mix who weighs about 60 pounds. He's a handsome boy who was rescued from a county shelter and has since undergone FHO surgery on a back leg, which has fully healed and requires no further medical intervention. Zac is a loyal companion with a wonderful balance of playful energy and a desire for cuddles. He enjoys the company of other dogs, walks calmly, and is house-trained and crate-trained. Zac absolutely adores people and thrives on attention, belly rubs, and gentle pets. He can be a bit of a conversationalist, especially when treats are involved, and has shown no signs of resource guarding. While he hasn't lived with young children, his foster believes he would do well with a family willing to teach him not to jump up when excited. Zac is looking for a home where he won't be left alone for long periods and would be happiest with canine companions or people nearby to share his life with.
