Meet Gru!

Gru is a young pup with a resilient spirit and a heart full of love. At just about a year old, he's already been through more than any dog should have to endure, but you would never know it from his happy, outgoing personality.

Before coming to us, Gru was found injured after being shot with buckshot. Thanks to the care he received, he underwent surgery to have the pellets removed and is now finishing up his recovery. Through it all, he has remained incredibly sweet, trusting, and eager to make new friends.

Gru absolutely loves other dogs and is always excited when it's time to play. He's the kind of dog who never turns down an adventure, whether that's exploring a new trail, going for a walk, or simply tagging along wherever his people go. He also adores meeting new people and has a friendly, welcoming nature that makes him hard not to love.

What Gru is looking for now is simple: a family that will show him the kindness and love he has always deserved. After everything he's been through, this special boy is ready to leave his past behind and start the next chapter of his life with people who will cherish him forever.
