Meet Cadi! This sweet girl is a true survivor with an incredible story of strength and hope. When Cadi first arrived at Journey Home Animal Rescue, she was on the brink of death—unable to walk, blind, covered in wounds, and so weak she needed to be hand-fed and carefully watered. It’s hard to believe that the same dog who once fought for every breath is now full of life, joy, and energy. Today, Cadi is thriving. She’s an active, playful dog who loves to run, play, and explore the world around her. She enjoys romping around with her dog friend Meeko, going for walks, and keeping busy throughout the day. She sits politely before eating and is learning to wait before going through doors. Cadi is very food motivated, making training both fun and rewarding! She’s improving daily with her leash manners—starting out with excitement, then settling into a nice, loose-leash rhythm. Cadi kennels nicely while her foster is at work and at night. She also has a funny habit of carrying shoes to her bed—her foster is still unsure if she wants to chew them or simply redecorate! Cadi is ready to share her bright, happy spirit with a forever family.
