Mavis

Mavis, affectionately known as Maeve or Mavey Baby, is a 6-year-old, 120-pound St. Bernard with a heart as big as her paws! She's a gentle giant who loves to keep you company, spending her days lounging around. Mavis has a low energy level, punctuated by occasional bursts of playful zoomies. She's a fantastic travel companion, always ready for a car ride, though she might try to claim the driver's seat! Having been with her family since she was a puppy, Mavis is incredibly cuddly and loves her people fiercely. She's also amazing with cats and children over 12. A fun quirk is her love for blow drying; she'll patiently wait her turn in the bathroom when she hears the dryer turn on!

Ideal Home

Mavis would do best in a calm household where she can be the only dog. She is good with cats and children over the age of 12.

Ongoing Health

Mavis is currently on medication for a mild case of separation anxiety.

Training & Support

While Mavis has lived with dogs before, she has developed some reactivity towards other dogs since being a solo pet. With slow and proper introductions, especially to male, medium-to-larger sized dogs, she may be able to coexist with another canine companion. However, she will need to be the only dog in the home.
