A little about them
Freya is a 2.5-year-old, 68-pound Doberman with a sweet, goofy personality and a gentle spirit. She loves her people, toys, car rides, walks, outdoor adventures, and quietly relaxing beside her favorite humans. She is affectionate, loyal, curious, independent, playful, and wonderfully well-mannered.
Ideal Home
Freya would thrive with an active family who wants to include their dog in everyday life through walks, hiking, running, biking, play, and adventures. A securely fenced yard would be wonderful. She may be shy or timid with unfamiliar people, dogs, and new situations, so she needs patience, reassurance, and time to feel safe. She is not aggressive and becomes playful with canine friends once comfortable. Freya can experience storm anxiety and some separation anxiety.
She is reported to be great with men, women, children of all ages, dogs, and cats in the home. She has a high squirrel prey drive but responds well to “leave it” and redirection.
Ongoing Health
Freya is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and on prevention. She has no known health concerns. A health certificate will be provided before transport.
Training & Support
Freya is house trained, crate trained, food motivated, and walks well on leash. She sleeps comfortably in her crate at night and stays crated when her family is away. She knows Sit, Down, Come, Crate, Leave It, and House; when told “House,” she comes and sits between your legs. She loves car rides and squirrel-shaped toys.
