About Murdock BR-JC1001-T

Murdock is a sweet, blind boy who was sadly abandoned by his previous owner and left to fend for himself on the streets. Thankfully, a kind neighbor alerted our rescue, and one of our dedicated fosters stepped in to give him a safe haven. Despite his visual impairment, Murdock is incredibly active and adapts remarkably well to his surroundings once he learns his environment. He adores going for walks in the neighborhood and at the park, and he's already mastering commands like "follow" to make his strolls even more enjoyable. Murdock is also a huge cuddle bug who thrives on affection. He gets along well with other dogs, though his playful energy can be a bit boisterous, so it's important to supervise their interactions. He needs to be fed separately from other dogs, but he enjoys joining them in the yard for playtime after his meal. Murdock experiences crate anxiety and cannot be crated; he also dislikes confined spaces. In his foster home, he has the freedom to roam and has proven himself to be house-trained and trustworthy when left unsupervised. Murdock is seeking a special, understanding home that will embrace his unique needs and continue to support his journey.

Ideal Home

Murdock would thrive in a home that understands his blindness and is willing to work with him as he navigates his environment. He needs a home that can accommodate his need for free roam and cannot crate him due to his anxiety. He also dislikes small spaces.
