We believe Tango is a Boxer/Pittie mix around 1 year old and weighs approximately 45 pounds. He has the perfect little compact body and the most handsome face ever. Tango has never met a stranger he doesn't like and is the kind of dog who walks into a room and instantly makes everyone feel like they've been best friends for years. Treats are the way to this boy's heart, and he'll show his appreciation with his signature toothy grin and the happiest tail wag you've ever seen. His foster says her favorite thing about him is how he'll climb into her lap and just gaze into her eyes like she's the most important person in the world. He is cuddly beyond belief and would absolutely thrive in a home where he can curl up next to you, soaking in all the love you have to give.
Tango has lived harmoniously with a full dog squad, four pups in total, and he's been the life of the party. He knows how to read the room and match energy. He plays respectfully, knows when to follow the rules, and can roughhouse with the best of them. He also attends a daycare where he mingles like a pro with a group of 20-30 dogs. He would thrive in a home with another medium energy dog to spend his days with. After a bit of play, Tango knows how to settle down and will make a great adventure buddy followed by an evening relaxing on the couch. He walks beautifully on leash and would be the kind of dog you take to the park, patio, or trail and know he'll be right by your side, smiling the whole way. He would do best in a home with a yard to run off his zoomies, and we can easily see him thriving with older, dog-savvy kids who'll love him as much as he loves them. Cats are not his cup of tea.

Tango is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
