Boris

Meet Boris, a sweet and quirky dog with a tender heart and resilient spirit. He is currently in foster and is learning to trust after a difficult start. Boris shows affection by resting nearby, giving soft kisses, and seeking quiet companionship.

Ideal Home

Boris needs a patient, loving home with a calm environment that will let him open up at his own pace. He is shy with touch and startles easily. He enjoys playing with other dogs, including his foster brother Charlie. He currently lives with a foster cat but may need training and support to coexist with resident felines.

Ongoing Health

Boris has some physical challenges that may be related to genetics or past trauma, but he is gaining strength and confidence. He weighs 50 pounds and is neutered.

Training & Support

Boris is crate-trained and potty-trained, knows basic commands including “sit” and “come,” and is food-motivated. He enjoys soft blankets and chew toys. He will benefit from patient, gentle support as he continues building trust and confidence.
