Chewy

Chewy is a 4-year-old sweetheart who has bravely navigated more challenges than any dog should. His past was difficult, and he's just now discovering the joys of human trust and the comforts of a loving home. Despite his history, Chewy is eager to please, loves to play, and enjoys snuggling. He can sometimes be vocal and growly when feeling pressured, but with a little patience and understanding, he's willing to do just about anything for you.

Ideal Home

Chewy is currently in a foster home with a male dog and a cat. He's doing well with his canine housemate and shows interest in the cat, though their interactions are short and supervised as he's still a bit unsure. Chewy deserves a patient and loving environment where he can continue to build his confidence. Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 minutes from downtown Indianapolis.

Chewy is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Chewy is house-trained. While he can be vocal when coerced, patience will help him blossom.
