AN ADORABLE FRIEND: Approx. 12 years old / Approx. 16 lbs.

Hi, I'm Luke! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the nice volunteers, who spend time with and take great care of me - they are so much fun to hang out with! Now I hear that I'm ready to find a wonderful family of my very own, where I can love and be loved furever! I hope to meet them very soon and charm them with my cuteness!

I'm a sweet, calm, and friendly gentleman with a gentle, low-key personality. I was a little skittish at first, but I'm a very sweet fellow who enjoys being around people and has adjusted nicely. I was calm and cooperative during my bath, and while I appreciate a relaxed lifestyle, I still have a nice little pep in my step that shows I'm ready to enjoy walks and time with my family. I'm a wonderful companion looking for a loving home where I can enjoy my golden years. Energy level: 3-5.

Ideal Home

I haven't met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let's meet to see how we get along. Cats are unknown. I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me.

Ongoing Health

I'm current on my annual vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. When I arrived, I needed a good dental cleaning, and during that procedure, 14 teeth had to be removed, leaving me with just 4 teeth. The good news is that it doesn't bother me, and I do just fine with my adorable little smile! I also had a few masses removed from my abdomen and am healing very well from that surgery. My sutures/staples will be coming out soon, so I'm ready to continue enjoying life with my new family!

Training & Support

I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already learned how to accept friendly strangers without jumping on them and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! I'm doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule. I enjoy going for walks, especially on the sidewalks - lol, where I'm happy to take in the sights and smells. I also like relaxing on a bench outside of Mostly Mutts while the nice volunteers pet me and spend time with me. Walks, gentle affection, and sharing time with my people are some of my favorite things. I can't think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.
