Gertie

Gertie is the sweetest little senior girl! At 13 years old and weighing around 30-35 lbs, this little love is incredibly sweet and friendly. She's looking for a loving family to spend her golden years with. Gertie was rescued from a shelter in Texas and has since been living in a fantastic foster home in Colorado, but she's now ready for a forever home of her own! She is great with all dogs, cats, and kids. Gertie loves to lounge on a soft bed, enjoy time in the sun, rides well in the car, and gives the absolute best snuggles!

Gertie would love a family to shower her with love in her golden years. She is great with all dogs, cats, and kids.

Ongoing Health

Gertie is heartworm positive but is currently undergoing treatment, which is covered by the rescue. This condition is not contagious. She has not yet been spayed, and the veterinary team will assess if this is appropriate for her at her age.

Gertie is house-trained and ready to settle into her new home.
