Sweet pea

Sweet Pea is a playful, active, and loving young dog who came to us after injuring herself at the shelter. We've given her time to rest and recover, and she even completed a two-week board and train program to help with her self-control. While she's still a very energetic girl who needs a good amount of supervision, she's making great progress! She loves to go for walks and is doing wonderfully. She might be a little shy when she first meets new people, but she warms up quickly to adults.

Ideal Home

Sweet Pea would thrive in a home with a very active couple or family. Because she can play a bit too roughly with other dogs, she is not a good match for homes with smaller dogs. She does well with older children.

Ongoing Health

Sweet Pea strained her back, but is now recovered.

Training & Support

Sweet Pea is crate trained, house trained, and leash trained. She has completed a board and train program to help with her self-control. She comes with a $200 stipend for ongoing training for her adoptive family.
