Rocky

Rocky is a 6½-year-old Schnauzer mix with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. He found himself in a difficult situation when his owner passed away and he was left without a plan, eventually ending up in a shelter. Thankfully, PPR stepped in and rescued this sweet boy! Rocky is incredibly mellow and loves nothing more than to snooze happily near his favorite person. He has a charming personality that wins over everyone he meets, including the neighbors who adore showering him with pets.

Ideal Home

Rocky would thrive in a home that can offer him a predictable routine and plenty of gentle affection.

Ongoing Health

Rocky has a back compression that doesn't require treatment, but it means he does best with short, frequent walks. He recently underwent a dental cleaning where nine teeth were removed, and he's now feeling much better.

Training & Support

Rocky is housebroken, though he may have a little tinkle if he gets very excited or startled. He is very passionate about squirrels and will enthusiastically announce their presence on walks. He also gets along well with other dogs and may offer a playful bark to invite them to play.
