About Bandit AW

Bandit is a sweet and energetic young lady who knows she's a little extra special! This German Shepherd mix with a touch of Husky flair was born on July 21, 2025, and currently weighs a strong 71 pounds. She's a natural athlete, always ready for playtime and adventures outdoors. Bandit loves a good game of fetch, chewing on bones, and can even keep up with the biggest dogs – her best friend is a Great Dane! She also has a talent for turning stuffed toys into a winter wonderland in seconds.

Bandit is a total sweetheart with people, showering her foster parents with snuggles and kisses. She's also great with the foster grandkids, ages 4 and 8, though sometimes her excitement can lead to a playful tumble. She's house-trained, uses a doggy door, and is doing wonderfully with leash training and meeting new people. Bandit can be a little reserved at first, but with a little patience, encouragement, and treats, she warms up quickly.

Ideal Home

Bandit would love an active family who enjoys playtime and spending time outdoors.

Ongoing Health

Bandit was spayed and microchipped in early March and is current on all vaccines and preventions. She was a perfect patient during her procedures and took all her medicine like a champ.

Training & Support

Bandit is house-trained and uses a doggy door. She is not crate-trained yet, but her foster family is working with her on leash training and helping her become more comfortable meeting new people. She can be a little reserved at first, but with patience, encouragement, and a few treats, she warms up quickly.
