Osprey

Osprey is a 2-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix weighing about 51 lbs. She came to Almost There Rescue after being found as a stray with her puppies. Osprey is a gentle, affectionate girl who loves being close to her people and is looking for a loyal companion to be by her side. She enjoys spending time with her humans and is always looking for love and reassurance. The world can still feel a bit overwhelming for her, so she's looking for a patient family who can help her build confidence as she continues learning about leashes, new places, and unfamiliar sounds.

Ideal Home

A home with a yard would be the perfect place for Osprey to continue growing confidence at her own pace. She would do best with children ages 5 and older who can respect her space while she settles in. She can happily coexist with another respectful dog, but she also wouldn't mind soaking up all of your attention herself!

Ongoing Health

Osprey is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Osprey can be a bit shy and is still learning about the world. She is eager to learn and wants to make her people happy. Patience and positive reinforcement will help her build confidence.
